- Mercedes-Benz B Class (Starting from £18,424.46 OTR): This small car is a great city runner, whilst maintaining the comfort that you would expect from some of the larger cars on the market. It is a sporty car and with a Mercedes-Benz badge adorning the front.
- Toyota AYGO (Starting from £7,785 OTR): This city car is in the lowest road tax band combined with excellent fuel consumpton, making it the cheapest to run in this list.
- Ford Mondeo (Starting from £18,045 OTR): This car is a favourite amoungst young vibrant professionals, but that Ford badge lets it down in my opinion.
- Toyota Avensis (Starting from £16,485 OTR): The Avensis is a wonderful little car, handles with ease, and provides users with more features than you can shake a stick at. The fuel consumpton isn’t that bad either, but in this review it only gets 7th place.
- Vauxhall Insignia (Starting from £17,640 OTR): The Insignia is one of those marmite cars, you either love or hate them. I personally love them and think that they are great for the higher end professionals. Even if it is a Vauxhall.
- BMW 3 Series (Starting from £21,525 OTR): The 3 series from BMW is certainly a good car, and has fairly low fuel emmissions, but according to reports, the handling lets it down substantially.
- Mercedes C Class (Starting from £22,530 OTR): The C class from Mercedes-Benz is a wonderful car, although it’s fuel emissions and consumption lets it down substantially.
- BMW X3 (Starting from £27,870 OTR): The BMW X3 is the only 4×4 style vechile that made it into my ratings. It’s entry was secured because of it’s comfort and suprisingly low fuel consumpton. It’s nice to look at too.
- Vauxhall Astra TwinTop (Starting from £19,995 OTR): This Vauxhall really is best of class. The convertable aspect of this car is changed in seconds and with very little noise when travelling at speed with the top down, it’s an amazing feat of engineering.
- BMW 5 Series (Starting from £27,430 OTR): My favourite car for professionals at the moment is the BMW 5 series. It is just the right balance between professionalism and fun.
So there you have it. My top 10 cars for professionals in the UK. What do you think? Would you change any of those cars?
