The Japanese-built 2012 Peugeot 4008 will be based on the Mitsubishi ASX compact SUV, and will sit below the Mitsubishi Outlander-based Peugeot 4007 and the smaller Peugeot 3008 in the French company’s local SUV line-up.
Peugeot Automobiles Australia’s Kirin Tipping said the new 4008 would be unveiled at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show in October. An international media launch will follow in March 2012, with an Australian introduction shortly after that.
