Acura ZDX: Restyled But Almost Died

The ZDX and arrived on the U.S. market at the end of 2009, but its level of sales had nothing to do with the BMW X6.

Acura ZDX: restyled but almost died
United States, the BMW X6 is a straightforward commercial success. So much so that other brands have tried to follow suit by introducing similar models to the silhouette. In vain.

The Acura ZDX is one of those failures. A few years ago, the group Honda eyeing the success of the BMW X6. Its North American division Acura has decided to develop a competitor to the SUV close enough to the philosophy of the brand to the propeller, with a silhouette too unusual for this type of vehicle.

The ZDX and arrived on the U.S. market at the end of 2009, but its level of sales had nothing to do with the BMW X6. Less than three years later, Acura has a little facelift to accompany somehow to an end early career: the U.S. brand has already announced that its marketing will only last a few months time to liquidate inventory plant.

Meanwhile, the ZDX can count on a restyled grille magazine redesigned shields and equipment on board more bloated than ever. It does of course the other side of the Atlantic, the vehicle remains unknown in our country.
