The wilight hour at Le Mans is always magical but, after watching the leading group of GT40s blast by under the Dunlop bridge, I found myself punching the air as the Lister Tiger Coupe (below) growled around, heading everything else including the Cobra army. What better way to celebrate the Rootes rocket’s 40th birthday. Joint owners Tony Eckford and Chris Beighton look to have sorted their Le Mans veteran thanks to preparation by Jon Finnemore.
