Cool Concpt Cars: Honda 3R-c

The Honda 3R-C concept car was unveiled at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. This concept car was designed by a European design team based at Honda’s Research and Design facility in Milan. The 3R-C is a commuter concept car with a capacity of only one person.

The Honda 3R-C concept car is powered by electric engine. It has taken place alongside the range of Toyota contraptions, including the i-foot, i-unit and i-real.  The Suzuki pixy which is also a commuter is left behind by this 3RC concept car. The Honda 3R-C concept car also has an UX-3 electric system which no other commuter concept car has.

The 3R-C concept car is powered by an electric engine which is mounted low down in the chassis to improve the center of gravity and provide balance for the car.

there are not enough details available about the design of  this concept car , it is a 3 wheeler car, inspired by a hybrid technology , one can call it a hybrid of the Can-Am Spyder and BMW C1 scooter. It is not being specified where exactly the engine would be but it will be mounted in such a way to keep the center of gravity low to improve stability of the car. 

The Honda 3R-C concept car has the most unique design it looks like a scooter but it is not a scooter technology. 3R-C encloses the cockpit when it is parked and when it is on drive the canopy morphs into a wild shield with bodywork for protection of the driver and side doors.  There is a lockable storage area up front of this commuter. This storage gives a significant storage of goods.

There is flexible cover that surrounds the upper torso of 3R-C concept car; this is to reduce exposure to bad weather and improving comfort. The commuter concept cars are not so common and people seems to have no interest in these type concept cars but a good design and technology can bring buyers for a car.
