New Honda CR-V is scheduled to go on sale in Europe in October. And bearing manufacturer’s flagship SUV is produced at H Honda’s Swindon plant, in the UK.
Compared with the U.S. version, the CR-V for Europe is also getting some unique features, including the revision on the front bumper. Then there are the LED lights are lit throughout the day, as well as an embedded LED taillights.
In terms of equipment vehicle, CR-V Europe is also getting some of the features of energizing and Hill Descent Control (HDC), a feature first implemented in the CR-V.
On the inside, the car has a different interior materials, selected for the European market, where Honda gave a lot of attention to detail. Under the hood, the CR-V will be offered in Europe with the unit gasoline engine 2.0-liter i-VTEC and 2.2-liter diesel engine i-DTEC.
As in the previous model, i-DTEC to develop a total output of 150 horsepower and 350 Nm of torque. CO2 emissions have been reduced to 149 g/km from 171 g/km (for the 5-speed manual gearbox).
The petrol engine has a total output reached 155 hp. CO2 emissions are also reduced, from 192 g/km to 173 g/km for the manual transmission. For the firsttime in continental Blue, CR-V will be offered with a choice of 2WD and all-wheel drive.
