Driving Attitude

Some people say that how we drive a car on the street shows our personality. Whether we are a calm, or spit fire, or precise, or careless one.

How it can be explained? I just can give you examples. Precise guy usually calculate everything involved before he does anything. If he want to put his money at a bank, he will look for the most save bank that offers the highest interest. If he want to go somewhere, he will look for the shortest way he can achieve, etc. This will happen to his way driving too. Before overtake a car else, he will calculate whether he has a good chance or not. If he thinks that there would be not enough space for his car to overtake, he won’t do that, because it will be very harmful for him and the all passengers, so that he will suffer much loss. In case an accident happening, he will loss much money, time, and the worst is his life. And, how does he calculate all of the factors so that he can take a conclusion of whether doing overtake or not? He will calculate the space available for overtake, the power of his car, the acceleration time (usually defined by the torque of the car), the passenger involved (for calculating the overall weight), the condition of the street, and else. After he gets (or feels) a conclusion that he has a good and enough chance, he will do that. At the opposite, a careless one will not do that, because of analysis lack. Some accident occurred by human error.

And, I can share you in this article that according to my own practical experience, we should have a good attitude on the street while driving. If we like giving, we will receive ease easily. For example, there is a car in the opposite of us overtaking any other car against us. In fact, there is no sufficient space for him to do, because he will pass our way. I suggest you to give him our way. Why? Because we don’t know what business caused him drive in a hurry. We don’t know whether he is carrying for someone sick in emergency condition, or racing for a plane schedule, etc. we can give him our way, that may be useful for his business. But there is a condition for doing that. We can do it as long as it doesn’t give any danger for ourself. For example, if there is a car parking at our left side,  we can not just give him a way whitout brake our car, or slowing down. We can brake as enough, stopping for a while, and let him pass.

What is the advantage for us? Theoretically, it will not give us any advantage, but loss. Loosing time and may be feel bad for being surprised. But, is that true? I don’t think so. It will give us any advantage in the other time. We don’t know when we will need it. And, believe me that it works. For example, suddenly we are very surprising for a car crossing our way that forces us to turn right suddenly. In the normal situation, a car running from the opposite will in a danger situation we build. But, in case if we like “giving”, there will be a way enough for both. Or, if we are in such a hurry driving for any business, and is overtaking a car with an opposite running against us, he will give his way for us, willingly, without anger.

On the street, you will drive and run your car easily or hard, save or being in danger, depend on (or influenced by) your driving attitude.
