SYDNEY – Early 2012 is evidence of the success of the automotive industry in Australia. Proven sales at the beginning ofthis year rose 4.3 percent, or reached 76 783 units from the previous year. However, of the total, sales of cars is dominated by the type of Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV).
This was announced by the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries Australia (FCAI), which states that of the total overall sales, car sales dominating type of SUV. Demand is increased significantly to reach 30 percentof the total.
“The start of 2012 is a good start for car sales in Australia are dominated by the type of SUV. Australia most consumers buy a car with SUV type as useduntukbisnis and other private business, “said Ian Chalmers, Chief Executive FCAI, in the quotation in Inautonews, Sunday(02/05/2012).
Furthermore, consumers of the private sector at the beginning of 2012 increased by 8.4 percentcompared to last year in the same period. Of all existing mereik, Toyota and Mazda managed to lead the sale.
Toyota came in first with 18.3 percent, Mazda positioned the second with 11 percent and in third position was occupied by Hyundai with 8.5 percent. While Ford had to settle for being in aposition to fourth with 7.6 percent.
