Driving really is a matter of pride for most people. Freedom and the ability to go where we want to go, when we want to go is something that should be taken seriously. And being a safe driver that is really important. Lives depend on it. Often we are all so busy and caught up in life that makes us think about all of this.
The truth is … By practicing these driving tips for yourself, you can ensure that you, and the other passengers will arrive at their destination safely and in one piece.
1.) Do not drive while intoxicated.
More than 30 percent of car accidents that resulted in deaths caused by someone who chose to drive under the influence of alcohol. If you plan to drink, use a designated driver. If it was not planned, call a taxi. This little inconvenience will greatly outweigh the disasters that can happen if you choose to drive while intoxicated.
2.) Watch your speed.
Excessive speed can cause a terrible accident. This is why every country take the effort to set speed limits. This restriction is made in accordance with the terrain, traffic and location of every street. So, obey the speed limit. The amount of time that could be saved would be 10 miles per hour over the speed limit just a few minutes, but you can increase your chances of having an accident by 50 percent.
3.) Do not drive when you are impaired.
Do not try to drive when you put on your makeup or shave. Do these things at home. Eating while driving is a disorder that can put you in danger. And, the worst possible disturbance using the phone, especially to SMS. You may think you are good at this, but it only takes a split second to completely destroy your life or someone else. If you need to call or SMS, please pull over and use the phone.
4.) Always wear your seat belt.
Appeal “seatbelts save lives” is true. Nearly half of all accidents involving deaths where the person is not wearing their seat belts. We have all heard horror stories about people who lost their lives because they were not wearing seat belts. Incident when someone was thrown out of their car and hit a pole or a tree where if they had their seat belts on life expectancy is much greater. If this sounds scary to you, then please wear!
5.) Keep Distance
Give the people around you are some distance! Three-meter rule still applies. Give three feet between you and the car in front of you. Let’s face it! These things happened to cause people to stop suddenly. Perhaps the child chasing a ball, or decide to jump the road in front of the car in front of you.
