Ford Motor Company is behind a beautiful car – the Ford Crown Victoria. This car is a car of the same size as its history of production dating back to 1950 and resumed again in 1970. This was rather poor sales in the market for the public, but got much popularity among the ranks of the army. This is a full-size sedan, and is best known as the “Crown Victoria”.He is best known for being a top of the line sedan from Ford’s creations. Its predecessor was a Ford LTD. The first of the Crown Victoria had its humble ingredients of the year 1955. He made his way through the streets as a hardtop coupe with two doors at six sites. It differs from the usual pattern of Victoria because of having a stainless steel band that ‘crowned’ the roof, passing right over the car as an extension of the line B-pillar.
People are talking about a traditional American is more often than not, we’re talking about cars like the Ford Crown Victoria, and its twin Mercury Grand Marquis. Ford Crown Victoria is a big car with a V8 engine under the hood and along a body separate from its steel frame. He also has wide seats, soft suspension, a relatively large trunk, and poor fuel economy. The police liked the Ford Crown Victoria, because the engine is fast NOK, with rear-wheel drive that provides a predictable behavior, the interior can manage and enjoy all the facilities and police officers, in addition to simple mechanical time.Generally, the car is not expensive.
This vehicle was made available in three trim levels, including standard, LX, LX and Sport. The rule is clear, that’s what most fleets like. The center line LX has alloy wheels, so they breathe more as a civilian machine. Sport has a slightly larger alloy wheels LX. Commander in dark red, gray, black or birch means that there is a set of white and black finish. LX black sport is very similar to an unmarked police car.
When it comes to the interior of the Ford Crown Victoria, is one of the few remaining cars sold in the U.S. still offer a front seat. The seats are soft, however, more devices become uncomfortable for passengers, because it lacks support. Controls that are inside this car is quite simple and straightforward.
Although Ford Crown Victoria has soft seats, soft handling and modest V8 engines, it is dominated by the huge trunk of the car.In addition, a plus for this that because it is often confused with a police car, the Ford Crown Victoria respectful when they are on the road. And this vehicle is definitely a full-size, rear-American.

In the early 50s I purchased a 1949 MG-TC from Johnny Sotelo in Riverside,Ca. We became good friends after that. Soon after we met, Johnny and a good friend of his, Fred Ybara started building a Glasspar sports car. As I recall it had a purpose built frame. They both worked for the local Cad.,Olds dealer. They installed a Olds Rocket engine in the car. The car was a rocketship, it easily beat any of the local hotrods. One story stands out in my mind. There was road west of the Colton cement plant, in Colton Ca. On This road was a place they called thrill hill, the bottom was 3 or 4 hundred feet down. One night Fred a buddy took the Glasspar over the hill, how fast they were going I don’t know but they landed 180 ft. down the hill in one piece and drove the car back to Riverside. Fred had some back problems after that. They both have passed on now but the story of the car build and story live on in my mind.
