BRUSSELS – The growth of the automotive world that continuesto rise makes a company engaged in the automotive field to rack my brain to make a car that can be folded.

As reported by autoblog, Friday (01/27/2012) there is a folding car, dubbed the EV Hiriko. Featured car of the Brussels, Belgium is able to accommodate only one passenger only.

This electric-powered cars equipped with special suspension nan unique because it allows thevehicle to be folded vertically and rotate the cabin to be in the parking dilahan narrow.

The creators claim Hiriko EV takes only approximately one third of the parking lot that used Smart ForTwo. Practical vehicle is planned to start production next year in Spain.

Hiriko EV was born thanks to a collaboration group of Basque businessmen, the Spanish government and the MIT Media Lab. To date 20 units Hiriko EV has been built to conduct the testing process. One unit EV Hiriko a cost of U.S. $ 16,253 or about Rp145 million.
