 Steps   

  1. Let the buyer to make a first impression of the car.
  2. Honor customer requests, if they are reasonable: open the hood, turn on the light, press the horn.
  3. Explain the problems as they arise. For example, if the rust, if you show a car buyer is looking at bones.
  4. Explain strengths as they arise. If you are new tires, show them when the buyer is looking at wheels. Tell how many kilometers have done.
  5. Give the customer documentation in recent repairs and service inputs, if any.
  6. Let the buyer to start the car and listen to the car. Explain any engine repair, performance details and opinions about the durability of the car.
  7. Occupied passenger seat and go for a drivetest. Buyer must necessarily be behind the wheel.
  8. Allow the buyer to drive on the highway, if desired.
  9. Return to the home, take back the car keys and start negotiating, if necessary.

 Tips  

  • Demonstrate goodwill usually means a higher final sale price.

  • Do not try to hide anything. If you can sell a car with a major flaw concealed an honest person, if you will be in court or in a matter of your conscience morality
