How to Start You Rock Band

The main thing about starting a group on anything is to find someone who share your same views.  In music this would imply finding someone who likes rock. I could be just the singer and the guitar player, or key board player and a drummer, but you need to have someone to be checking each other to follow through an entire song.

Once you find at least one person who want to rock the world and you have the instruments, the next thing is  to perform a song.  I am assuming this is for teenagers who are having their first experience, so I would say you should try performing simply songs; not so crazy ones like for example Iron man from Black Sabbar or you really got me by the kinks.

The best way to go is to to finish nailing one song and then you go to the next super hit you want to perform.  There you will have ups and dows, but the main thing is to have the attitude to keep going and specially the attitute to kick ass’ don’t forget you are a rocker.

Eventually, you will find more people interested in you project so you will start shaping you band with more members.  And if thing go smootly in the inspiration department, you will also start have ideas to compose you own songs, so eventually you will stop playing covers to perform your own repertoire.
