Maruthi a Star Relaunched

Maruti Suzuki India’s premier export model A-Star takes a reincarnation. The changes based on customer feedback ‘seek to enhance the look, feel and comfort’. Presented as Suzuki’s fifth World Strategic Model and produced exclusively at the Manesar plant, A-Star turned out to be the flagship export model that sold 3.81 lakh units, of which 2.81 lakhs were by export primarily to the Europe, Australia and South Africa.

Maruti Suzuki A-star is one of the most awarded cars from Maruti Suzuki India; it bagged the `Car of the Year’ felicitation from leading auto magazines, Topgear, Zigwheels and Autocar. It was also rated `Most Fuel Efficient Car in the World’ by Global Green Challenge Australia, ‘2nd Most Environmental Friendly Car’ by VCD Germany and also won the ‘Total Customer Satisfaction Award’ in 2009-10, 2010-11.
