New Benz Coupe is Fast and Efficient

Mercedes-Benz has covered all the bases, introducing a completely new C-Class Coupe. Three models have the same elegant lines of the AMG-inspired, but to offer three different levels of performance and luxury. And after a long absence, C250 will see the return of the four-cylinder Mercedes-Benz range. But this is not a standard 1.8-liter four-cylinder.

New Benz Coupe is Fast and Efficient – It is equipped with direct injection, dual balance shafts and a turbocharger that delivers 201 horsepower to the rear wheels and dashes to 100 km / h in 7.2 seconds while sipping just 6.4 L/100 km on the motorway. This is called having your strudel and eat it. The C350 upped the ante with a 3.5-liter V6 with 302 hp, while overthe-top C63 AMG somehow found a space under the hood to press the 6.2-liter, 481 hp V8. This will rocket to 100 km / h in water at 4.4 seconds and has an eye potentially terminal speed of 280 km / h. Not here, of course.

Our test car was the C250, finished in white with black calcite, Artico leather man. The Coupe shares the same wheelbase and overall dimensions of the C-Class sedan, except for one 40 mm (1.5 inches) in height reduction. The result is a sleek aerodynamic profile with a long hood and sloping beltline sharp increase in the short rear deck. Fat is dominated by the traditional three-pointed star sitting in the prohibited dual chrome grille flanked by headlights with a set of LED daytime running lights. The slope of the roof has a spectacular two panels, motorized sunroof and sunshades. Clean bobbed tail also allows the use of these distinctive LED reverse lights. The flared wheel arches are filled with 17-inch AMG alloy, five, two branches of the tires that emphasize its performance potential.

Although this is a pure, uncompromising four-seater, offering excellent access to the rear seats thanks to wide opening doors and front seats driven by the engine by pressing a lever in each folder.
