KUALA LUMPUR – Volkswagen (VW) announced that the VW Golf R and Passat R officially launched for the Malaysian automotive market. However, for the VW Golf R was little changed on the machine but for the VW Passat R remains the same as the previous generation.

For VW Golf R is the streamlining of the engine has 3.2-liter V6 to 2.0-liter TSI four-cylinder engine with turbo power that can spew up to 255 PS and 330 Nm of torque at around 2400 and 5200 rpm.

Passat R also comes with bi-xenon lamps and supple, a multifunction steering wheel, aluminum, sporty seats with Nappa leather, dual-zone climate control, audio with 10 speakers and an electronic parking brake and a rear view camera and is available in a choice nine color.

Furthermore, regarding the price, VW Golf R are marketed in Malaysia is priced starting RM 268.888. As for the VW Passar R priced from RM 373.88.
