Spied: Mazda Cx-5 SUV Caught Testing in India

It’s raining test cars in India, we spotted the Chevroletsail hatchback and sedan earlier last month and now we have the Mazda CX-5 getting into attention of the spy photographers.

The Mazda CX-5 is a compact familycrossover from Mazda. The CX-5 features a lot of new features like the new KODO – Soul of Motion Designlanguage and the Skyactiv Technology suite used for the first time.
The Japanese model was unveiled at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show post which the Production models went on sale in 2012, with choice of SKYACTIV-D 2.2 or SKYACTIV-G 2.0 engines mated to SKYACTIV-DRIVE 6-speed automatic transmission.

EURONCAP rates the Mazda CX-5 2.2diesel as five stars with a break-ups including, Adult Occupant at 94%, Child Occupant at 87%, pedestrian safety at 64% and finally safety assisting features at 86%.
Although, the Mazda CX-5 has been spotted testing in some parts of the country, sources are yet to confirm the brands walk-in to the country. However, there is unconfirmed news spreading that Mazda venturing into India through other automakers already in the country.
