Sports Car in Disguised

Lately there have been many cars that don’t look like they are made for performance, but under the hood they pack a powerful punch. One of them is the Buick Lacrosse Super, the name Buick might make you think old, slow, comfortable, etc. For the most part older people do drive Buicks, an young buyers turn away from them for that reason, but Buick is trying to appeal to a bigger  younger audience so they have started to put more aggressive looks on their cars. In 2008 they made what they called the Buick LaCrosse Super.

The LaCrosse Super is, as you might have guessed the sports edition of the normal LaCrosse . From the outside the most noticeable changes are the 18 inch rims, a new bumper both front and back dual exhaust side skirts and a small spoiler. It really makes a difference, making it look a lot more aggressive but elegant at the same time so it won’t attract much attention, unless you know your cars. The important changes are inside though; it has a 5.3 V8 that produces 303 horsepower and 323 of torque. Making this sedan go from 0-60 in just 5 seconds and that is stock. The average car in the road takes about 8-10 seconds from 0-60. There wont be much competition on the road. This is a sedan so its wife approved, and it can be your daily driver providing comfort and performance, this car is a bargain. The only downside is that they don’t make them anymore, because they didn’t sell as Buick expected, due to the lack of knowledge almost nobody knew or knows about it. If Buick would advertise these newer and different models from their original lines, maybe then they would sell more. If you want to get your hands on one of this you will have to settle for a 2008 model, the last year they were made them.
