Some trucks were built with extraordinarily huge sizes. These trucks were built for special uses and purposes.

MT6300AC is the world’s largest haul truck payload capacity which is up to 363 tons. This gigantic truck’s engine can produce 3,750 horsepower (2,800 kW). When fully loaded, it can reach a top speed of 64 km/h.
2.) Caterpillar 797F Haul Truck
Caterpillar 797F is one of the largest trucks ever built in the world. This powertrain haul truck, which was developed and manufactured by Caterpillar Inc of the United States, was introduced in 2008. It is the company’s largest and highest payload capacity haul truck. It has a payload capacity of 363 tons and can attain a top speed of 68 km/h when fully loaded.
3.) Liebherr T 282B Haul Truck
Liebherr T 282B is one of the most gigantic trucks ever built in the world. This off-highway, ultra-class, rigid frame, two-axle, diesel/electric, AC powertrain haul truck is Liebherr Mining Equipment Co’s largest and highest capacity haul truck. It has a payload capacity of up to 360 tons. This haul truck from Virginia, USA cannot be driven on public roads. A single unit of T 282B can costs up to $5 million. It is 7.4 meters in height and a length of 14.5 meters with a 6.6 meters wheelbase.
4.) Komatsu 960E-1 Haul Truck
Komatsu 960E-1 of Komatsu America Corp in Illinois, USA is the company’s largest and highest capacity haul truck. This ultra-class, off-way haul truck has a payload capacity of up to 327 tons. It was introduced in 2008 and its engine can produce 3,500 Hp. It is 15.6 meters in length, a width of 9.19 meters and a height of 7.37 meters. When fully load, it can attain a top speed of 64 km/h.
5.) Caterpillar 797 Haul Truck
Caterpillar 797 is a very large truck developed and manufactured by Caterpillar Inc., of the United States. This off-highway, ultra class, two-axle, mechanical powertrain haul truck was built specifically for worldwide high production mining and heavy-duty construction applications. This huge truck is the largest, highest capacity haul trucks of Caterpillar Inc. This haul truck has a 327 t payload capacity.
6.) Terex 33-19 “Titan” Haul Truck
The Terex 33-19 “Titan” is a mammoth haul truck designed by Terex Division of General Motors. Only one 33-19 was built and this gigantic vehicle was the world’s largest and highest capacity haul truck for 25 years from 1973 to 1998. It has a payload capacity of 320 tons. It can attain a top speed of 48km/h when fully loaded.
7.) Caterpillar 789 Dump Truck
Another Caterpillar Inc’s model of a large dump truck is the Caterpillar 789 Dump Truck. This huge dump truck, which is usually used in open pit mining, has a capacity of 195 tons. The engine of the Caterpillar 789 can produce 1,705Hp.
8.) Lectra Haul Dump Truck
Lectra Haul Dump Truck is a gigantic vehicle. The photo of Lectra Haul Dump Truck shown above is use in Boron, California, USA. This off-highway, two-axle, rigid dump truck is specifically developed for high production mining use and heavy construction environment purposes.
9.) Logan Lake Dump Truck
Logan Lake Dump Truck is a big dump truck with 645cid x 12 cylinders – 2 stroke engine. This large truck has a power of 2500 Hp. It is 19′ 11″ in height, a width of 24′ 1″ and a length of 54′ 3″. Its gross weight is 844,600 lbs with a Payload of 470,000 lbs.
10.) Belaz 75570 Dump Truck
Belaz 75570 Dump Truck is manufactured by BelAZ, a Belarusian manufacturer of earthmoving and haulage equipment. This large dump truck is usually used in open pit mining.
11.) Caterpillar 777 Dump Truck
Caterpillar Inc is well-known worldwide for their huge heavy equipment. One of its giant vehicles is the Caterpillar 777 Dump Truck. This Caterpillar’s model of large dump truck has a capacity of 80 tonnes.
12.) Euclid Hitachi Haul Truck
Another very large truck ever created is the Hitachi Haul Truck. The truck shown on the above photo is use at Chuquicamata copper mine. Hitachi Haul Trucks were developed and manufactured by the Euclid Company of Ohio which specialized in heavy equipment for earthmoving. The company is now a section of Volvo.
