To Exit Preparing Diesel Modified Mercedes-benz SLK

Mercedes-Benz Group has published recent data on the diesel version of the Roadster SLK – 250 CDI. To the European market will be delivered new from September 13 this year. The cost of the car will be in the range of 41 828 euros.

Roadster plans to equip 2.1 liter four-cylinder engine, whose power will be about 204 “horses” and 500 Nm of torque. Initially, the car will be produced only with a seven-speed robotized transmission, and in summer 2012 and will be available six-speed version with a manual gearbox. Prior to the first diesel version of hundreds of Mercedes-Benz SLK can be dispersed in 6.7 seconds. The maximum vehicle speed reaches 243 km / h.

Approximate cost of fuel are 4.9 liters per hundred kilometers, and hazardous waste CO2 – 128 grams per kilometer.

In addition to the diesel engine, the SLK will be available in versions with a 1.8-liter gasoline turbo engine capacity of 184 and 204 horsepower. A “top” version will receive a six-cylinder power plant with capacity of 3.5 liters under the hood of which will be hidden by a herd of 306 “horses”.
