Toyota is considering Corolla recall due to problems in power steering.
Toyota, the Japanese car maker which is already battling with quality issues in several other cars, is now considering to recall Corolla – the best-selling car of the world! Toyota says that no decision is yet made but the company is looking into the complaints they have received about the steering problems in Corolla.
According to the details, the company’s president Mr. Akio Toyoda said in a statement on Wednesday that the company is considering the recall of the subcompact model of its popular car Corolla. Mr. Toyoda also denied all the rumors circulating Toyota that the company is trying to cover-up itself as the US safety board starts an investigation. Mr. Toyoda said that the company would fully corporate with US officials. He also showed his full support to the company U.S. chief and said that the U.S. chief would be attending the congressional meetings next week.

The US safety board has asked for an investigation into the recalls made by Toyota. The safety board is investigating whether Toyota acted quickly to recall millions of cars for the technical problems.
Coming back to Toyota Corolla, the company says that the number of complaints about the power steering in Corolla is less than 100. Corolla has been widely sold in U.S. as well as in the rest of the world. In UK, Corolla has not been sold since 2007 when the Auris model came in the market.
Toyota has already made a recall for about 8 million cars. If the company recalls Corolla too, the number of total recalled cars will be significantly large.
