Start the vehicle and wait for 5 minutes before it can be driven:

Warm the vehicle for some time so the fuel circulates within the car and than drive

An idle vehicle consumes less fuel as it consumes more fuel at start up:

Most people think that an idle vehicle consumes more vehicle as to turnoff and start it again. If you are stuck in traffic or have to stay idle for 30 minutes or so, you should turn off the ignition.

Myth is that when vehicle gets older it reduces fuel consumption:

I am totally against this point, if your vehicle is properly maintained and tuned than even 20 year old car have efficient fuel consumption.

Use 91 Octane and other mixed together in your vehicle fuel tank:

I recommend mixing 91 Octane and other fuel in vehicle tank as it optimizes vehicle performance.

As I personally applied these tips to my vehicle and reached to the conclusion that maintenance plays a vital role in fuel efficiency of your vehicle and is good for our environment too. Regular cleaning of oil filter will also leads to efficient fuel consumption
