How to Escape Traffic Jams

All the cities are getting crowded. Due to the development in settlements and life, cities are getting much crowded due to job opportunities. Due to globalization jobs are at galore in the cities.

In over crowded cities, you can see jam packed streets, with commercial buildings and resident buildings. Most of the roads are packed with vehicles, with no space for even a needle. Roads are always blocked during peak hours. People always are stuck in traffic jams. They get late to office. They are frustrated, after swimming through the traffic, when they get to the office.

Most of the traffic jams can be avoided by following simple tips:

·         Bikers can use alternate roads, which are less crowded, where a car can’t move easily.

o   Most of the time it is very difficult only for the bikers to get caught in traffic jam. They have to inhale the soot and dust.

·         People working in same office and residing in same complex can go in the same cab or van.

o   At least you need not drive the car and get frustrated, you can relax and read the newspaper.

o   You can save petrol too.

o   When more people opt for such travel, congestions will reduce automatically.

o   You can discuss your office news and spend quality time enjoying some music.

·         Avoid school timings, either go before or later. School buses occupy the roads most. They can’t drive very fast too. There is always a stop signal near the gateway of the school too. Till the students pass by the signal will not turn green.

·         Opt for different timings if possible from office. Ask for other timings, you can go one hour earlier or one hour later. This will also make easy for you to avoid the peak hour traffic.

·         Go for company buses.

o   This will save time and be assured that you will reach safely to office and home.

o   Company buses usually come before time and ensure that you reach the office in time. You can relax and even take a nap, or read some interesting news.

o   Interacting with colleagues will be a good pass time too.

·         Follow traffic rules. By following traffic rules strictly, you can easily avoid traffic jam.

Drive steadily and regulate your speed. Do not block ways unnecessarily, give way to other vehicles promptly if your vehicle is at fault. Look out for latest news on traffic before starting. Wait for the traffic to clear, and then start from home. If it is not a very important job, do not go during peak hours.

Thus somehow avoid peak hours. If everyone follows this there will be no traffic jam and the roads will be clear always. This will avoid accidents from happening too. Time management is the key word here. Plan your travel ahead to avoid traffic jams.
