Now I am going to start off by saying that I try my best not to judge or stereo-type. That being said I have noticed that there are a great deal of people that do not follow the rules when it comes to driving. And a great many of those people seem to be from different countries.
There is nothing worse than trying to get to your destination and having to sit and wait while someone makes an illegal u-turn when the signs are right in front of them telling them not to do so. Now if this were a one-time thing I would have thought that they were “just visiting” and didn’t know. However, these are people who are parents of children that my children go to school with. They do these things on a daily basis.
What I wonder every day is how a person can live in the same area for years and never follow that rules. Do the rules not apply to them because they are not from this country? I think not, however, it appears that they don’t think they do! Honestly, how do you live in a country when you don’t follow the rules?
I am from the United States, lived here all my life. I know that if I were to visit another country they would have different rules and I may not know them right away. I also know that if I were staying I would want to make sure I knew and followed the rules so that I would not get in trouble for doing something wrong. Plus I don’t want to inconvenience anybody else. Am I the only one who thinks this way? Do you think that people who move to a different country should abide by the same rules as everyone else? Or should they be allowed to do as they please? Please keep in mind that I am talking about people who move to a different country not those who are just visiting. What do you think?

It’s not like that over here in the UK. By and large, the cars with foreign (European) plates stick by the rules. It’s the locals, who know what they can get away with, who know which rules are enforced and which aren’t, who are the worst!

Oh, and I see the marvelous Triond article-categorisation computer has done it again, and put an article clearly about driving under card games. What is it on? (And can I have some?!?)
