Although the Renault Frégate had to face a harsh competition with Citroën DS, Simca Versailles and Peugeot 403, this model remains very interesting. A convenient station wagon and superb convertibles were also proposed.
The popular and successful Simca Aronde was also offered as a coach. This luxurious and original version was very attractive and is now rare: this is the “Grand Large” whose name is so evocative.
