Here are some driving techniques to achieve the Eco Driving in different road conditions:
First, Driving in the hilly path areas. Driving in the hilly areas is essential to speed management. Try to move the car by using a small force. This can be possible if the rotation is achieved with a low rpm. Keep rolling the car with a low gear and without using a high rpm.
A High rpm on a slippery surfaces (off road) often make the traction on the drive wheel is off. It will make the car do not reach a higher level. The principle of high and low rpm is often into a debate, try to do the best.
Second, turn off the engine if stopped for a moment such as when to stop waiting for the rail crossing, the traffic light or waiting for someone. The idle of fuel consumption in engines of modern cars now is approximately one-liter-per-hour, therefore if you have the opportunity to idle more than a minute , then turn the engine off for a moment. If a day capitulation of the car idle for more than 10 minutes and the driver is always turned off the engine, they had been saving 1/6 liters of fuel..
If the engine has an injection system , the driver is expected not to step on the gas pedal when turned on the engine back, because the engine has an own re-start management system. (While on cars made before 2000, in the hot engine condition the drivers sometime have to little step on the gas pedal to re-start the engine).
Third, is how to drive a way of cornering. Cornering with eco driving could be achieved through several factors such as speed, path direction and training. Look a ahead, slowdown the car gently, if it is safe without using the brake pedal try to use TITO (widening-narrowing-widening) thus the reduction factor of the small wheel rotation. Generally, the drivers should be able to anticipate the condition if it is secure or not in certain areas of the corner.
We all hope, by understanding on how to a good driving, the eco driving will be achieved. And may be there are more usefulness that can be found, especially in the fuel saving system.
