Some things can be taught, and are learned as part the lessons of life. How quickly you lean is up to you. Some people take a long time and have to be given the lesson several times before they “get “it. What are we trying to teach them? for one thing respect, for others, and respect for the belongings and property of others.
HAVE OR HAVE NOT
Many people who have never had anything and have never worked and earned what they have, so they don’t appreciate what they have, because they figure someone will give them another one if they break it, whatever it is. You should take care of the possessions of others like it was your own.
HONESTY
Some people are honest and some are not, I have found it always pays to be honest in words and in deeds. There is a story now about a taxi driver who found something of value in his taxi after his last fare got out, he turned around and found the person and gave the item to him. The customer rewarded him beyond his wildest dreams, so it pays to be honest, not only monetarily but for your own personal self esteem; it makes you feel good that you did the right thing.
INSPIRATION- INSIGHT
Inspiration and insight is something that many folks want but few come by it naturally. To have insight a person has to be a thinking person and have the ability to reason, put together an idea and make it work. Although it can be learned if a person works at it, and remembers their experiences. Once you have the insight into the problem or situation then you will get inspired to do something about it.
ENTHUSISM
This is one of the hardest things to get, and it is very hard to pass on to your workers, there is only one way that you can get it. Although you can give your workers some inspiration and let them become enthuastic themselves, you cannot be enthuastic for them, it can only come from one place and that is from within, the inner self that really controls your emotions.
If it comes from within, where does it come from and how does it get inside of you? Those are good questions it seems to me. Personally I think it is self generated by a thing called attitude, your overall attitude is determined by your outlook on life and how you were taught growing up. You are not born with it but it is a learned response to your life surroundings as you respond to the events that shape your life.
Attitude is the outer you, this is what people see when they meet you. What is your attitude? How do you handle different situations, are you respectful in your speech and actions.
There is a Quote I want to end this with, from one of the best salesmen I have ever heard of ZIG ZIGGLER he said “Your attitude determines your altitude” which I think is true.
