Just Breaks

 Been there twice at 80th and Wadsworth boulevard in Arvada, Colorado. The first time there were about six young men on duty. They were more focusedon showing each other their I phones then looking on my car. The mechanic in charge, showed me what they were doing. He played me several dirty jokes to entertain my wait. I just played along and laughed, more at his professionalism being the joke. Then he was on a loud cell phone call harrasing his poor mother for a car loan. They told me my master cylinder was leaking. Three months later, I returned for the 98.00 brake shoe and pad special. Its was a Saturday this time, and the staff are all in their late 30s and 40s. They told me my master cylinder was fine? The manager took me to my car and zigzagged me from front tire to back tire. First the front passenger side, then the back driver side, back, front, and back again talking fast.  He claimed there were all these problems and tiny part replacements needed. I got the impression he was trying to fast talk me into a decision and a possible scam. I asked him to stop for a second so I could just read the notes instead. He slapped the clipboard down in front of me and yelled “Fine I don’t have time for this crap.  I’m a busy man, so go find someone else when you’ve figured this out.”

  I had to get the pads and shoes done since my car was apart already. I approached another mechanic, and he was verypolite. I drove home and my wheel has a tiny shuffle sound now. There was another customer waiting as long as me for the five hours. She was more trusting of mechanics than me. They kept finding problems for her and she put alot on her credit card.  After they said she was done,  they found another problem that had to be fixed, after she paid???

 In my opinion they are possibly, ”Just Scam Artists” and are plain, “Just Rude”.  I will not be going there again, and wish I believed the negative reviews I read on google.  I dismissed those reviews as just a few mad people.  My advice to , “Just Brakes,” is that they change their name to, “Just Breaks.” As my wheel is making a strange noise since their repair.
