Would it be a good thing if cars were charged via USB connection through electric power instead of by petrol pumps or gas stations? The USB key would be the new car key that would control the car entirely; except for in case of an emergency where an exit would be recommended given a health and safety routine that would allow all passengers to leave the vehicle.

All you would have to do is charge the Key USB at home or in a nearest shop if out. If the charge should run low a ‘safety officer’ would alert passengers.

A voice activated ‘Safety Officer’ instructs all passengers to fasten their seatbelts, and enjoy the ride. All seating could be arranged in new style along with the doors. The boot could remain in the original position.

Drivers would then either tell or type where their destination would be. This car would be driven by the computerised USB chip inside the key that would enable the car to navigate and move safely down roads, leaving all passengers without a driver.

If there should be any fault with the car the Safety Officer would explain how it should be fixed via Internet Techniques available through the USB chip.

This method could change the use of roads and even reduce speeding, road rage and car accidents. Maybe trucks, lorries and caravans could be designed the same.
